My 3rd games was in Bermuda in 2013. This was a real highlight, we were staying in the same accommodation as several other sports and island teams (often not the case for golf locations), which was also a venue for volleyball and across the road from athletics and swimming.
The golf itself was amazing - it was such a buzz to get to play a course we’d seen PGA tour players on TV! I finished 10th, was best placed Scot, and had the 2nd best round one of the days - really showing myself that I could compete. This time we had also managed to get to the Opening Ceremony, which was very special to be on the track and with the crowds cheering. It was made all the more special by my dad being the flag-bearer for the Orkney team, something he was very proud of, and I could capture to show to family and friends.
