Each games was a fantastic experience, both for providing high level sporting competition, but more broadly, to make friends with people from both my home island and other parts of the world, particularly when I was lucky enough to return a few times and see people every couple of years.
It was a lovely opportunity to reminisce ahead of Orkney hosting next year (where I will hopefully be returning as an avid spectator!) and hopefully provides something useful for you too!
