My highlight of the games was 100% the home crowd and support from everyone at the track. Knowing that so many people took time out of their day to come and support me felt incredible.
After I won gold, so many people came up to congratulate me and all of the kids that came to get my autograph were amazing - I felt like a total celebrity!
To top it all off, my gold medal was presented to me by my grandad, with all of my friends and family in the stands. I was so so emotional and it was just the biggest relief that all of my hard work and dedication over the years had paid off. Gold at home was always my biggest dream, and to have done that, whilst enjoying the competition, feeling calm and in control, jumping well but also in front of the sensational home crowd was absolutely one of the best days of my life.
