Great to see Rita Smith (in white hat) as she was 79-years-old at the Games along with Carol Nicolson. It was a shame they didn’t win a medal as they won all their games (very sad). Bowling was a great success with between 500 and 700 spectators every day. I’ll remember that forever. It was also great to meet all the other teams and make lasting friendships.

Should have, would have, could have! Both these women, (Rita Smith & Carol Nicolson), should have a gold medal but due to competition rules they were unable to have a medal event. They won an alternative and received a trophy. The older one would have been the oldest competitor!
