At the end of the evening following the Closing Ceremony, dancing and then walking home on a beautiful, still night. Stopped to buy a pizza then went and sat with Elaine on Broad Street bench across from St Magnus Cathedral. It was 11.45pm (still light) and we reminisced about the whole week of badminton and the other sports. We were very tired but very happy and nearly tearful! Two proud Orcadians.
